Job Description

• The Director, Physical Planning is the head of the Physical Planning Unit of the University, responsible to the Vice- Chancellor for the coordination and supervision of the physical infrastructural development of the University, by ensuring that all such development projects conform strictly with the specifications of the institutions master plan.

Qualifications
The Candidate must possess the following qualifications:

• A University Degree in Architecture or Engineering, with not less than 21 years cognate experience.
• Must be a registered and current member of relevant professional bodies, including:
  • Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA)
  • Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON)
  • Council of Registered Engineers of Nigeria (COREN) The Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE)
• The candidate should be ICT literate and not more than fifty-five (55) years,
• Possession of a higher degree in the relevant field of specialization and fellowship of any of the professional bodies will be an added advantage.

Experience:

• Candidate must have at least ten (10) years post-graduation experience.

Salary / Conditions of Service

• The salary and conditions of service are as obtainable in the Nigerian University system

Tenure:

• The appointment will be for one term of five (5) years only.
