Formula Chemist
Responsibilities
- Designing and conducting studies
- Developing samples for use by focus groups or in clinical trials
- Helping to manage clinical trials, pilot studies, and panel tests
- Assisting with scale-up from development to production quantities
- Mixing nonreactive substances to create new or existing products
- Measuring different quantities to ensure accuracy
- Experimenting and testing new combinations of ingredients
- Assessing and updating formulas
- Researching new chemical combinations
- Collaborating with other chemists to identify new product opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 2-3 years of work experience
- Experience in related industry
- Experience with IT systems
- Strong work ethic and capacity for meeting deadlines.
