Job Description

• Developing business management goals and objectives that tend to growth and prosperity.
• Responsible for the company’s economic planning and investment need analysis to ensure that there is prompt return on every investment.
• Developing attainable financial goal for the company.
• Manages financial budgets of the company.
• Spearheads Company’s financial budgeting and monitoring.
• Responsible for sourcing of finance and regulating its usage through budget control.
• Works directly with the accounts department to generate financial records and reports for business analysis.
• Planning, designing and implementing business plans and strategies to promote the attainment of economic goals of the company.
• Monitoring the economic success of the business strategies and providing counsel on how to improve its efficiency and effectiveness.
• Gather, analyze and interpret external and internal financial data and write reports.
• Coordinate strategic financial planning for the company and its clients, including expenses, income, insurance coverage, objectives, tax status, and risk tolerance.
• Support finance partners in implementing valuation models, measuring results, tracking performance expectations, and providing recommendations for corrective action.
• Provide insights about spending trends, cost-savings initiatives, and margin opportunities.
• Providing financial advice to managers regarding initiatives to improve the company’s financial performance.

Job Requirements

• First Degree in Economic or Accounting and HND Accounting, professional certificate is needed (e.g., ICAN, ACCA).
• Master’s Degree in a related field is needed.
• 6 – 12 years relevant work experience.
