Finance Business Partner

About The Opportunity

  • Finance Business Partner’s primary responsibility is to connect senior management’s long term “strategic plan” to reality.
  • The strategic plan is a top-down, senior management driven document that will set high-level targets of performance indicators – revenue, net income, core strategic initiatives, etc. for the company covering a period of 1-3 years into the future.
  • Finance Business Partner’s role is also to develop the operating and financial plan required to achieve management’s strategic plan.
  • Work experience with any of the big four accounting firms or multinationals is a bonus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures.
  • Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance.
  • Supervision of Financial Analyst(s)
  • Oversee and manage the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Modeling tools.
  • Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis
  • Quarterly and Monthly Financial reports
  • Implement and work with a Business Intelligence Tool and Dashboard reports
  • Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies.
  • Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
  • Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes
  • Supporting Senior Management Team and Departments heads with in-depth analysis
  • Prepare presentations to the Senior Management Team

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Skills and Experience from a similar position in a multinational group or delivering similar services via Big 4 audit firm.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; MBA is a plus.
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience as a Finance Business Partner
  • Strong leadership skills required.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.
  • Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to think creatively, highly driven and self-motivated.
  • Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or related accounting discipline
  • A professional qualification with ICAN or ACCA or final qualification stage is a must.
