Finance and Operations Analyst

Job Purpose

  • Cordros Capital Limited needs a Finance and Operations Analyst who is responsible for a wide range of activities including, maintenance of accruals schedule, transactional Tax computation and remittance,etc.
  • We need someone who is passionate about this role, consistent and patient.

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance of fixed asset registers
  • Computation of depreciation on fixed asset
  • Maintenance of accruals schedules
  • Maintenance of prepayment
  • Transactional tax computation and remittance (VAT, WHT, PAYE, Pension, ITF and NSITF)
  • Response to tax queries and audit
  • Reconciling of intercompany ledgers
  • Monitoring of account receivables from customers and other subsidiaries
  • Reconciling investment schedules and identifying the income.
  • Preparation of weekly and monthly net liquid capital returns
  • Daily call-over of transactions and postings
  • Posting and approving transactions ledgers and customer accounts
  • Processing of payment to both customers and vendors
  • Preparation of bank reconciliation

Job Requirements

Education

  • A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or any other related discipline.
  • A Second Degree and/or Completion of Relevant Professional Certification like ICAN/ACCA will be an added advantage.

Work Experience

  • Minimum of two (2) years’ work experience in Finance

Key Knowledge and Skills

Knowledge
The incumbent must have proficiency knowledge in the following areas:

  • The use of Microsoft Excel
  • The use of Accounting Software (e.g., Symplus, etc.)

Skills

The incumbent must demonstrate the following skills:

  • Analytical skills
  • Good Communication (feedback) skills.
  • Problem solving skills.
