Field Services Engineer
Job Descriptions;
- Install, configure, and commission telecommunications equipment, including base stations, antennas, routers, and other related devices.
- Ensure proper integration of new equipment into existing networks.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure the optimal performance of telecommunications systems.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions and network issues promptly.
- Perform hardware and software upgrades as needed.
- Conduct site surveys to assess the feasibility and requirements of new installations.
- Collaborate with project teams to plan and implement network expansions or upgrades.
- Maintain accurate records of all installations, maintenance activities, and repairs.
- Provide detailed technical documentation and reports as required.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety protocols, and quality assurance procedures.
- Conduct regular audits to verify compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Attend ongoing training events sponsored by company or client to stay up-to-date on the latest technology and repair options
- Serves as a Rigger when necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, mechanical/Structural, or related field
- 2-3 years experience as a Field Service Engineer in the telecoms industry.
- Strong understanding of telecommunications networks, protocols, and technologies.
- Proficient in the installation and configuration of telecom hardware
- Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- self-motivated, proactive, and dedicated approach.
- Rigger certification is an advantage.
