Job Summary:

• The Electrician at Schemes Interior Ltd will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, machinery, and equipment within the factory.
• This role requires a deep understanding of electrical principles, wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all electrical systems within the plant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and equipment in accordance with electrical codes and regulations.
• Inspect electrical components, such as transformers, circuit breakers, and switches, to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
• Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and diagnose problems using testing devices, such as voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and thermal imaging cameras.
• Repair or replace defective parts, wiring, or equipment, and perform necessary adjustments to ensure proper functioning.
• Collaborate with other maintenance technicians and engineering staff to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure minimal downtime.
• Conduct preventive maintenance routines on electrical systems and equipment to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
• Maintain accurate records of electrical repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment inspections for compliance and reporting purposes.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working with electrical systems and equipment to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Assist in the installation and setup of new machinery and equipment, ensuring compliance with electrical standards and specifications.
• Stay updated on advancements in electrical technology, codes, and regulations through training and professional development activities.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited electrician apprenticeship program preferred.
• Valid electrician license or certification as per local regulations.
• Proven experience as an electrician, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of electrical principles, wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
• Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment, such as multimeters, clamp meters, and insulation testers.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, instructions, and specifications related to electrical systems and equipment.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve electrical issues effectively.
• Solid understanding of safety protocols and guidelines when working with electrical systems and equipment.
