Credit Analyst
Job Details
- Analyze and process retail credit requests for the market facing business units to facilitate prompt decisions.
- Identify high risk retail credits transactions and quickly step them down if they cannot be mitigated.
- Work with other departments to ensure completeness of documentation to safeguard the Bank’s position.
- Analyze and review retail problem loans and extract learning points for future corrective measures.
- Manage and assist market facing business units in retail credit
- structuring transactions and providing advice and interpretations on credit policy.
- Manage the conveyance of all retail credit decisions to the business.
- units to ensure proper information dissemination and swift response.
- Participate in various retail credit process transformation projects, credit product development and credit policy formulation to ensure alignment with Bank’s objectives and goals.
Qualification/Skill:
- Minimum of First Degree in a numerate or business related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position
- Relevant professional certifications such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Professional Risk Manager (PRM), Financial Risk Manager (FRM) etc. and/or a second degree are added advantages.
- Strong data analytics skill
- Strong financial analysis skills
