Cost Accountant
Description
- Collecting and analyzing data about a company’s operational costs
- Setting standard costs of products and services
- Developing and analyzing cost standards
- Carrying out cost-volume-profit (CVP) analysis
- Establishing costs of business processes such as administration, labor, shipping, etc.
- Performing account reconciliations
- Preparing audit reports and presenting their findings to management
- Recommending changes to the company’s processes and policies to reduce cost and maximize profit
- Advising executives and upper management on appropriate costing and pricing based on financial data
- Managing the company’s balance sheet and accounting books
- Supporting other company accountants with invoicing and capital expenditure
- Responsible for Costing and pricing of Products and services
- Responsible for coordinating monthly and yearly stock count
- Responsible for preparing monthly inventory analysis report
- Other projects/duties as assigned for the overall benefit of the organization.
What We Expect
- Minimum of 5 years’ cognate experience especially in tax management.
- B.Sc. or equivalent in relevant discipline.
- The Candidate must be a Chartered Accountant
- Excellent knowledge of Excel, Sage and ERP Application Packages.
- Exemplary planning and resources management skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload with minimum supervision
- Exceptional organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
