Chemical Materials Specialist and Analyst
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Electrochemistry, or a related field.
- A Master’s or Ph.D. in a specialized area related to battery technology or electrochemistry is an added advantage.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting, preferably related to the manufacturing industry.
- Experience with laboratory equipment, analytical techniques, and chemical processes.
- Proven track record of successful material identification and implementation.
- Deep knowledge of electrochemical processes.
- Proficiency in analytical techniques such as spectroscopy, chromatography, and electrochemical analysis.
- Ability to conduct literature reviews, and patent searches, and stay updated with the latest research in the field of battery technology.
- Experience in designing and conducting experiments to validate material choices.
- Proficiency in using chemical modelling and simulation software and processes is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of data analysis software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to evaluate the feasibility and performance of materials.
- Excellent communication skills to present findings and collaborate with R&D, production, and other departments.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in identifying and testing new materials.
- Familiarity with safety protocols related to battery production.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations, standards, and best practices for battery production.
- Commitment to staying updated with advancements in battery technologies.
- Ability to work in a laboratory setting, handle chemicals, and operate equipment.
