About the job
- We are looking for a Butler with hotel experience to provide excellent service to a luxury shortlet residence, from greeting and checking in guests to making dining and entertainment arrangements, keeping guest rooms up to standards, and providing the best possible experience for our guests during their stay.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service
- Maintain cleanliness of all facility spaces
- Greet guests upon arrival
- Ensure the consistent appearance of spaces across the facility
- Foster a welcoming environment for guests
- Anticipate and meet a wide array of guest needs
- Assist with planning and delivering complementary services
- Note special guest accommodations
- Process transactions, including check-ins, using point of sale system
- Maintain working knowledge of facility floor plan, including emergency exits
- Inspect facility spaces before guest arrival/following the departure
- Furnish emergency plan upon request
- Update guest records as necessary
- Assist with replenishing inventory, including cleaning supplies and dishware
Requirements
- Experience as a Butler or similar role in the hospitality industry
- Sales experience is an added advantage
- Strong multi-tasking skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to a fluid environment
- Commitment to a high level of customer service
- Strict attention to detail
- Knowledge of area restaurants, theaters, and other attractions
- Ability to handle sensitive matters with efficiency and discretion
- Knowledge of food and wine pairings is a plus
