Job Description

• Our client is interested in hiring a skilled and experienced Business Manager who has a great knowledge of the logistics industry.

Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will perform the following roles and responsibilities:

• Position the business as a strong force in the freight logistics industry within a period of 12 months.
• Oversee operational and functional areas of the business in accordance with best practice whilst Generating Management Account Reports.
• Identify, develop and position the business within the relevant circle of opportunities that generates strategic partnership and generates sales transactions.
• Drive business performance by delivering business development excellence through understanding of the C2B, B2B AND B2C clientele base and industry needs, offering them with competitive and efficient solutions.
• Understand SUPPLY and VALUE CHAIN and create value adding solutions through the different segments of the Economy.
• Coordinate the sales and marketing unit in tandem with sales projections and active orders.
• Customer and Alliance Management.
• Liaise with Port/ Custom officials and clearing agents to facilitate importation and clearing of inventory.

Requirements

• B.Sc / HND, and professional membership. An MBA will be an added advantage.
• 8 –  12 years Deep Relevant Industry Working Experience, 3 out of which must have been in senior Management of a company dealing in the Freight Logistics Sector
• Experience in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Financial Management, etc.
• Current Tech Skills Computer Savvy: Software/Tech-World Tools and Understanding of Financial software such as SAP is required.

Remuneration

• Guaranteed Monthly Gross of N300,000
• Monthly Variable/Performance Pay On Target Achievement & Profit Sharing== 2% of Monthly Net Profit Generated
• Total Monthly Potential Pay = From N550,000 – N1,200,000.
