Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities within the cleaning and facility management sector. This role requires a strong ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients, generate leads, and successfully close deals. The Business Development Associate will play a pivotal role in driving our company’s growth and expanding our client base. The Business Development Associate will report directly to the Managing Consultant.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.
- Generate leads through various channels such as cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients, understanding their needs and providing suitable solutions.
- Collaborate with the operations team to develop customized proposals and quotations tailored to client requirements.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Stay updated on industry news, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and events to network and promote our services.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives set by the management.
- Regularly update the CRM system with accurate and up-to-date client information and sales activities.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop marketing strategies and collateral to support sales efforts.
- Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, market insights, and potential clients to the management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Development Personnel, preferably within the cleaning and facility management sector.
- Solid understanding of the cleaning and facility management industry, including knowledge of industry standards, trends, and regulations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and persuasive selling abilities.
- Self-motivated and target-driven mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in using CRM systems, MS Office Suite, and other sales-related software.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally as needed.
- Candidate must be a resident of Abuja, Federal Capital Territory, Nigeria.
