Back Office Support
Job Summary
- Ensure accurate and timely settlement of trades, including confirmation of executed trades, reconciliation of positions, and resolution of trade discrepancies.
- Handle the opening, maintenance, and closure of client accounts. Verify and update client information, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and reporting requirements. Stay informed about changes in regulations that may impact the firm’s operations.
- Assist in monitoring and managing risk exposure by implementing risk management protocols, setting trading limits, and collaborating with other departments to ensure risk mitigation strategies are in place.
- Oversee the processing of financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and fund transfers. Ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client transactions, account information, and other relevant documentation. Facilitate audits and regulatory examinations by providing necessary records.
- Respond to client inquiries and issues related to back-office functions, such as account statements, transaction history, and account verification. Collaborate with the customer support team to address client concerns effectively.
- Generate and distribute regular reports on trading activity, account balances, and other relevant metrics to internal stakeholders and regulatory authorities.
- Collaborate with the IT department to ensure the smooth operation of back-office systems and resolve any technical issues that may arise. Test and implement updates to back-office software.
- Work closely with other departments, including compliance, risk management, front-office operations, and IT, to ensure seamless coordination and communication across the organization.
- Reconcile financial transactions and accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies. Ensure accuracy in financial reporting and collaborate with finance teams as needed.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the back-office operations to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and streamline workflows.
- Provide training and support to back-office staff to ensure they are well-versed in company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and monitor security measures to prevent fraud and unauthorized access to client accounts and sensitive information.
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and information. Ensure that audit recommendations are addressed and implemented.
Requirements

BSC degree in Accounting, marketing and other relevant courses with 3 – 5 relevant work experience.
