Assistant Manager, Learning and Development
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with department heads and stakeholders to identify training needs and learning objectives.
- Design and develop engaging and effective learning programs, both in-person and virtual, that align with organizational goals.
- Coordinate and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars, ensuring high levels of participant engagement.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives through feedback, assessments, and key performance indicators.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in learning and development to enhance program offerings continuously.
- Partner with external training vendors and subject matter experts to deliver specialized training programs.
- Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) and ensure accurate tracking and reporting of employee training activities.
- Provide coaching and support to employees to promote a culture of self-directed learning and development.
- Collaborate with HR colleagues to integrate learning initiatives with talent management and succession planning efforts.
- Assist in budget planning and management for learning and development programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of proven experience designing and implementing learning and development programs.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
