- We are seeking a proactive and organized Assistant Manager to join our team.
- This role requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills to manage daily salon operations, coordinate staff, oversee inventory, and maintain the salon’s social media presence etc.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in team coordination, customer service, and inventory management, with a creative eye for ensuring our salon’s social media contents are captured and posted.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily salon operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
- Supervise and coordinate salon staff, ensuring duties are assigned effectively.
- Manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during busy periods.
- Support payroll calculations, ensuring staff commissions and salaries are accurately recorded.
- Ensure the salon maintains a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure salon supplies are adequately maintained.
- Track inventory usage, identify shortages, and assist in placing product orders.
- Conduct regular stock audits to prevent loss and ensure accurate records.
- Greet and assist clients, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Handle client inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
- Support the team in delivering a premium customer experience.
- Ensure salon images and content are captured and posted on Instagram and other social media platforms daily.
- Collaborate with the team to capture quality content showcasing hairstyles, treatments, and salon experiences.
- Ensure all social media posts align with the salon’s brand identity and attract potential clients.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hair salon, spa, or beauty industry.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Experience managing staff schedules and payroll.
- Proficiency in inventory management and stock control.
- Knowledge of social media platforms, particularly Instagram, with an eye for visual presentation.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Work Schedule & Compensation
- Full-time including and weekends rotation evenings as required.
- Salary based on experience, with opportunities for bonuses/commissions.
