Analyst, International Development
- We seek an early-stage career individual interested in working at the intersection/nexus of consulting and impact.
- The ideal candidate will work on projects that aim to solve development issues in Africa with a focus on health, agriculture, policy, gender and climate change.
- They will collaborate with our expert teams to develop and implement evidence-based solutions and recommendations that address our clients’ needs and deliver impact at the last mile.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research and analysis on development issues that affect our clients in Nigeria and Africa.
- Infer and present research findings in clear and concise reports, briefs, and other formats.
- Work with our expert team to plan and implement projects in Nigeria and across Africa.
- Develop and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders and maintain industry awareness
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in International Development, Economics, Political Science, Sustainability or related field (master’s degree preferred)
- Minimum two years cognate experience in research and analysis
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Familiarity with research and analysis tools, such as Excel, Power BI, or GIS (Geographic Information System) tools
- Experience working with government agencies, NGOs (Non-governmental Organizations), or other development stakeholders in Africa
