RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Head Of Department MEAL lead the successful implementation of monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning systems for programs and projects, both new and established, ensuring efficiency in project deliverables. The HOD is also to provide technical support to the MEAL team on the implementation of an effective system to monitor progress, outcomes, impacts and successes of project activities and performance at all levels:
• More precisely, the HOD MOEAL will be responsible for the following missions:
• Overall technical support and accountable for the implementation of AAH MEAL systems
• Support proper and timely reporting of MEAL activities in colloboration with other departments
• Build the capacity of MEAL team through trainings, mentorships and coaching to ensure quality control and successful implementation of monitoring and evaluation activities
• Ensure capitalization and effective implentation of knowledge management systems for all projects activities in the mission
• Efficient resource management: HR, Finance and assets
• Represent the organization at national level and promote AAH’s technical viewpoints, guidelines and methods of work

REQUESTED PROFILE

• You hold a Master’s degree in Economics, Social Sciences, Business, Administration, statistics, demography or related subject, with a minimum of 5 to 7 years of previous experience working with NGOs
• You have a minimum 2 years of previous experience in coordination level position; Proven management and coordination skills (HR, projects, and stress management);
• You have a proven ability to translate analysis and evaluation into operational planning and strategy;
• You have knowledge and experience in qualitative and quantitative data management techniques including proficient and skillful use of Microsoft Office package, SPSS, STATA, EXCEL, Epi-info software’s, Power BI;
• You have an excellent written and spoken English, including the ability to write clear and engaging reports;
• You have an experience in nutrition, health, WASH and/or food security and livelihood programming;

SPECIFIC CONDITIONS / SALARY

• 12 months fixed term contract under French (for internationals) or Nigerian (for nationals) labor law,
