Procurement Auditor

We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Procurement Auditor to join our team. As a Procurement Auditor, your role will be to assess and review the procurement process and ensure compliance with established rules, regulations, and best practices. You will play a vital role in evaluating the selection of suppliers, contractors, and consultants for goods, works, and services. Additionally, you will review the implementation of procurement plans and contracts to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct audits of the supplier selection process, including contractors and consultants, for various goods, works, and services.
  • Ensure cost control and management is maximal.
  • Review and assess the preparation and implementation of procurement plans.
  • Prepare audit reports summarizing findings and recommendations for top management to review.
  • Audit the development and implementation of procurement rules, procedures, requirements, and best practices.
  • Evaluate the procurement process to identify areas for improvement and recommend necessary changes.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and regulations related to procurement, project administration, contract procedures, and project follow-up.
  • Bring new initiatives that will enhance the company’s audit procedure for all site expenditures.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience as a procurement manager in the construction industry (Compulsory)
  • Cost and procurement expert in building and construction.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of construction work and procurement processes.
  • Familiarity with best practices in procurement procedures, project administration, contract procedures, and project follow-up.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience working as a procurement professional.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Computer literacy, including proficiency in procurement software (such as Kissflow Procurement Cloud or Excel).

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying.
  • Master’s degree is an added advantage.
