Senior HR Manager
This role is a 6-Months Full time Contract.
The Human Resources Officer will work closely with the Managing Director & CEO in setting up the organization’s human capital base by leading recruitment processes, fostering a positive work culture, and ensuring compliance with Nigerian and International labour laws.
The candidate will be responsible for various aspects of human resource management, including but not limited to talent acquisition and onboarding, employee relations, and policy development.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing human resource strategies aligned with the business objectives, considering the unique realities of the Nigerian workforce.
- Developing and implementing of foundational human resource policies and procedures to provide employees with clear guidance and structure for the work environment.
- Documenting policies, processes, and employee records while ensuring the company remains compliant with local, state, and federal laws.
- Leading recruitment processes, including job posting and candidate screening, with a good understanding of the local talent pool.
- Overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and talent management, emphasizing diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Managing employee payroll and administering employee benefits, such as health insurance and pension benefits.
- Managing employee relations, conflict resolution, performance reviews, and career development plans.
- Conducting human resource analysis and reporting, emphasizing data-driven decision
- making for Management’s benefit.
Qualifications of Proposed Staff
- Minimum 5-7 years of human resource management experience.
- Knowledge of human resource functions including, but not limited to, pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development.
- A bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree in human resource management, Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
- Professional human resource management certification (e.g. CIPM, HRCI, SHRM) is a plus.
