Ticketing Manager

Responsibilities

Develop and implement a ticketing strategy that maximizes revenue and accessibility for fans.
Oversee the ticketing platform, ensuring its functionality, security, and user-friendliness.
Lead the ticketing team in CAF and during competitions.
Analyse ticket sales data and generate reports to identify trends and inform future strategies.
Maintain strong relationships with event organizers, sponsors, and external ticketing vendors.
Ensure adherence to CAF ticketing policies and procedures.
Resolve customer inquiries and complaints on ticketing issues promptly and professionally.
Work collaboratively with other departments within CAF to ensure a seamless ticketing experience.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business administration, Management, or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in ticketing operations, preferably in the sports industry.
Proven track record of developing and implementing successful ticketing strategies.
Strong understanding of ticketing systems and technologies.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
Accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Stakeholder management and Influencing skills.
A passion for football and a deep understanding of the African football landscape and CAF’s mission
Track record of providing leadership and direction to teams
Fluent in at least two of CAF Official languages (English, French and Arabic) both written and spoken is a must.
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office and other modern IT tools.
