Security Manager
- The Security Manager is responsible for ensuring the safety of personnel, assets, and facilities in Nigeria by managing security personnel, developing security policies, and coordinating security activities to protect against threats and risks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in security management, Criminal Justice, or related field. Advanced degrees and security certifications are a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of security management experience, with 5 years in a managerial role.
- Aviation Security Manager certificate and experience.
- Train the trainer certification.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Nigerian security regulations and laws.
- Familiarity with security technology and surveillance systems
- Integrity and a clear service record.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant security software.
- The successful job holder will be responsible for the following:
- Ensure the consistent delivery of quality security at each allocated site.
- Manage security requirements and services including security personnel and contractors.
- Perform risk assessments and threat mitigation.
- Provide regular security reports and provide risk mitigation recommendations on both micro and macro scale.
- Improve security across all bases by monitoring, reviewing and developing plans to sustain a high level of alertness of security personnel, baggage and passenger profiling staff.
- Develop and maintain relationships within local and national security agencies.
- Monitor staff movement between bases / offices.
- Manage and monitor mobility services for VIP’s, staff and guests.
- Arrange and coordinate security in all emergency situations.
- Conduct site security surveys.
- Oversee the Lagos staff accommodation.
- Implement ad hoc projects for safety management.
