Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive quality tests on raw materials, intermediate products, and finished vegetable oil products. This includes sensory evaluation, chemical analysis, and microbiological testing.
- Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, production processes, and finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards.
- Perform chemical analyses of wastewater samples using laboratory equipment and instruments, interpreting results to assess treatment efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies, environmental authorities, and third-party laboratories for testing, and compliance reporting, ensuring adherence to permit conditions and regulatory deadlines.
- Adjust treatment processes and chemical dosages as necessary to optimize treatment performance and achieve compliance with regulatory requirements and environmental standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Industrial Chemistry, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality control within the food industry, preferably in vegetable oil refining or a related sector.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate testing and documentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate quality-related information and insights.
- Proficiency in various quality testing methods, instruments, and laboratory equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address quality issues and implement effective solutions.
- Familiarity with quality management software and MS Office applications.
