Job Profile

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Political Consultant with expertise in data analytics, governance, and strategy to join our dynamic team.
• The successful candidate will play a key role in providing strategic guidance and actionable insights to clients across various sectors, with a focus on political and socio-economic issues.
• As a Political Consultant, your responsibilities will include:
• Policy Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of political landscapes, policy developments, and regulatory frameworks to provide strategic insights and recommendations to clients.
• Data Analytics: Utilize advanced data analytics techniques to gather, analyse, and interpret political and socio-economic data to support decision-making processes.
• Public Sector Governance: Advise clients on public sector governance best practices, institutional reforms, and policy implementation strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, policymakers, industry leaders, and community representatives, to facilitate collaboration and consensus-building.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with clients to develop and implement strategic plans, policy initiatives, and advocacy campaigns aligned with organizational objectives and political realities.
• Risk Management: Identify and assess political, regulatory, and reputational risks that may impact clients’ operations or objectives, and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
• Research and Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of emerging trends, issues, anddevelopments in politics, governance, and public policy, and contribute to thought leadership initiatives, white papers, and publications.
• Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, providing tailored solutions, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams within
• VIISAUS to leverage expertise, resources, and best practices in delivering integrated solutions to High Profile clients (HNIs).

You would be a good fit if you:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in political science, Public Policy, Public Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of post-NYSC Managerial experience in consulting, public sector governance, or related fields.
• Expertise in data analytics, including experience with statistical analysis software
• and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of political systems, public policy processes, and governance frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in project management and client relationship management
