Job Description

• Design and implement efficient, robust, scalable production quality components in TSQL.
• Write highly performing, scalable TSQL code (Stored Procedures, Functions e.t.c).
• Design physical and logical data modelling using the TOAD modelling tool.
• Perform the technical task of actually installing the system and all its necessary components.
• Identify and resolve all issues and provide support/assistance for same.
• Ensure quality implementation and customer satisfaction across all Client implementations
• Works to best practice development and support guidelines.

Job Specification

• Minimum of Bachelor of Science Degree / Higher National Diploma in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Business Analytics or any other related course.
• Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in using Microsoft SQL Server (Script Writing).
• Extensive knowledge of development in Latest Microsoft SQL Server and prior versions
• Excellent TSQL coding experience (Stored Procedures and Functions)
• Experience in database performance tuning
• Good understanding of all Microsoft SQL Server features (Security, Backup/Restore, Replication, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS)
• Strong knowledge working with Microsoft Development and Administration Tools (Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio)
• Experience in database performance tuning
• DevOPS Experience, Azure to be precise
• Use of R for data analysis will be of added advantage.

• Provide end-user support.
• Troubleshoot programming, changes, errors and subsequent modifications; this will be in conjunction with other programmers.
• Support the team in all phases of the software development lifecycle including; analysis, design, deliver functionality, testing and support.

Qualifications, Knowledge and skills:

• B.Sc Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
• 3-10 year experience in software Development.
• A passion for IT and learning about new technologies.
• Familiarity with web-based software design using IIS, SQL Server, T-SQL, Classic ASP or ASP.Net C#.
• Knowledge of web-related technologies (HTML, XML, CSS, Java Script, JQuery, JSON, Ajax etc.)
• ASP.NET MVC knowledge.
• Must have the knowledge of Angular.
• Appropriate understanding of data protection and security.
• Understanding of user interface design and information architecture.
