Purpose / Role

• The maintenance manager is responsible for the technical smooth running and maintenance of the company’s installations, equipment, machinery and facility. He is to ensure the safety of people and property and guarantee a high standard of equipment maintenance.
• The Maintenance Manager will supervise maintenance staff and maintain all company equipment, machinery, fixtures, fittings and installations (Electrical and mechanical) , civil work .
• Responsible for the full implementation of the requirements of Quality Management System within the Maintenance department; ensure that all team members are equally up to date on all the requirements as may be appropriate for their functions.

Skills / Qualifications Required

• HND/BSc in Electrical Engineering or any other engineering course
• Trainings and certifications in engineering or maintenance management
• Minimum of 12 years work experience in Facility Management in a reputable retail business.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
• Ability to work well and without supervision
• Good management skills
• Ability to work over extended time periods
• Ability to respond to guest complaints in a timely manner
• Excellent listening and communication skills
