KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Interpret medical images including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, and nuclear medicine scans to diagnose diseases and injuries.
• Consult and collaborate with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic reports.
• Utilize advanced imaging techniques and technologies to optimize image quality and diagnostic accuracy.
• Stay updated on advancements in radiology and medical imaging technology to improve diagnostic capabilities continually.
• Perform interventional procedures such as biopsies, image-guided injections, and drainage as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure patient confidentiality in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment plans.
• Provide consultation and guidance to radiologic technologists and other support staff.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to minimize radiation exposure risks to patients and staff.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities to ensure the highest standards of patient care.

Requirements

• Level 3 PGD in Ultrasound
• 10 years experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills ​
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
