Radiologist
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interpret medical images including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, and nuclear medicine scans to diagnose diseases and injuries.
- Consult and collaborate with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic reports.
- Utilize advanced imaging techniques and technologies to optimize image quality and diagnostic accuracy.
- Stay updated on advancements in radiology and medical imaging technology to improve diagnostic capabilities continually.
- Perform interventional procedures such as biopsies, image-guided injections, and drainage as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure patient confidentiality in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment plans.
- Provide consultation and guidance to radiologic technologists and other support staff.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to minimize radiation exposure risks to patients and staff.
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
Requirements
- Level 3 PGD in Ultrasound
- 10 years experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
